She has advanced training in PMADS (perinatal mood & anxiety disorders), hormone health from puberty to menopause, functional and integrative psychiatry including a focus on ADHD, post-concussion syndrome, dementia, and environmentally acquired illness. My son struggles with feeling utterly overwhelmed when facing daily tasks, he‘s often inexplicably sad and at times explosively angry. Having worked with many different doctors for my son, Dr. Van Vleet stands apart in conveying genuine care, full and ready engagement and the sense she really knows what she’s talking about.

Dr. Van Vleet finds the practice of naturopathic medicine exciting and invigorating.  She is dedicated to providing her patients with thorough, researched and individualized care.

She uses both conventional and functional laboratory testing to assess imbalances and deficiencies in her patients.  She utilizes many therapeutic modalities including food-as-medicine, herbal medicine, vitamin and nutritional supplementation, hydrotherapy and lifestyle counseling.

In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, cooking, loving on her dog and spending time with her family.
